Day by Day
Nairobi - Maasai Mara
Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from the hotel or airport in Nairobi, followed by a scenic drive toward the iconic Maasai Mara National Reserve. Along the way, take in the breathtaking panoramic views at the Great Rift Valley escarpment viewpoint, a perfect photo stop. You’ll arrive at your lodge or tented camp in time for lunch and a bit of rest, before setting out for your first afternoon game drive at 4:00 PM. This is your first chance to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Return for dinner and a relaxing evening surrounded by the sounds of the savannah.
Full-Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara
After an early breakfast, set off on a full-day game drive through the expansive Mara ecosystem, known for its abundant wildlife and dramatic predator-prey encounters. Your safari guide will lead you through diverse habitats in search of the Big Five; lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant, as well as cheetahs, zebras, and more. Enjoy a picnic lunch out in the wild, perhaps near the Mara River where hippos wallow and crocodiles bask. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight rest at your lodge.
Maasai Mara - Naivasha
After breakfast and check-out, the journey continues to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake nestled within the Rift Valley. Arrive in time for lunch at your hotel, followed by your choice of activities. Enjoy a peaceful boat ride on the lake, where you can spot hippos, fish eagles, and other birdlife. You can also take a guided nature walk on Crescent Island, walking among giraffes and antelope, or opt for a cycling safari in Hell’s Gate National Park (optional). Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Naivasha - Amboseli
After breakfast and check-out from your Naivasha lodge, head south toward Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s most picturesque reserves located at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch and a brief rest, then head out for a late afternoon game drive at 4:00 PM. Here, vast herds of elephants roam against the dramatic backdrop of snow-capped peaks, offering some of the best wildlife photography opportunities in Africa. Return for dinner and a peaceful night in the park.
Amboseli - Nairobi
After an early breakfast, enjoy your final moments in the wild as you check out and begin the drive back to Nairobi. A lunch stop along the way breaks up the scenic journey. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, wrapping up your magical 5-day safari experience across Kenya’s finest landscapes.
