Nairobi - Maasai Mara
Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel or Nairobi airport. As you head toward the world-renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve, enjoy a scenic stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint the panoramic vistas are simply breathtaking. Arrive at your lodge in time for a warm lunch and a bit of rest. Later in the afternoon, head out for your first game drive at 4:00 PM, where you’ll encounter wildlife in their natural element as the savannah comes alive. Return to your lodge for a hearty dinner and overnight stay under the African sky.
Full-Day Safari in Maasai Mara
After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive through the rolling plains of the Maasai Mara. The day is yours to discover Africa’s most iconic wildlife from elephants and buffalo to cheetahs, lions, and perhaps even a leopard in action. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the reserve, surrounded by nature at its most raw and beautiful. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and well-deserved rest after a thrilling day.
Maasai Mara - Lake Nakuru
Start your day with breakfast and check-out as you leave the Mara behind and make your way to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive in Nakuru in time for lunch, then head into the park for an evening game drive. Lake Nakuru is famous for its large populations of flamingos, pelicans and endangered white rhinos, as well as leopards and tree-climbing lions. After the game drive, head to your lodge for dinner and overnight rest.
Nakuru - Nairobi
After breakfast and hotel check-out, begin your journey back to Nairobi. Along the way, enjoy a stop for lunch, taking in the last views of Kenya’s countryside. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, wrapping up your short but powerful safari experience with Taitembo Adventures.
