Day by Day
Nairobi - Lake Nakuru
Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from Nairobi and a scenic drive through the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive in time for a mid-morning game drive, spotting flamingos along the lakeshore and keeping an eye out for white and black rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, and tree-climbing lions. After a picnic or lodge lunch, continue exploring the park’s acacia woodlands and viewpoints. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara
After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru for the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, passing through scenic highlands and Maasai countryside. Arrive at your camp or lodge in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive across the rolling plains. Look out for elephants, lions, cheetahs, and large herds of herbivores. As the sun sets, return to camp for dinner and overnight in the heart of the wild.
Full Day in Maasai Mara
Spend the whole day exploring the Mara’s incredible landscapes and rich wildlife. Begin with an early morning game drive, when predators are most active. After breakfast, continue searching for the Big Five and witness dramatic scenes of nature unfolding around you. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the Mara River, possibly spotting hippos and crocodiles. In the afternoon, continue your safari adventure or choose an optional visit to a Maasai village for a cultural experience. Return for dinner and overnight at your camp or lodge.
Game Drives in Maasai Mara
Another full day to soak up the magic of the Maasai Mara. Venture into different areas of the reserve, tracking elusive leopards or following wildebeest herds (during migration season). You may also opt for a sunrise hot air balloon safari (extra cost) for breathtaking aerial views. Spend the afternoon enjoying the lodge amenities or out on another game drive before returning for dinner and a fireside evening under the stars.
Maasai Mara - Diani
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip and catch a flight to Diani Beach on Kenya’s south coast. Upon arrival, transfer to your beachfront resort and settle in with lunch overlooking the Indian Ocean. Spend your afternoon unwinding on the white sandy beach, swimming in turquoise waters, or enjoying spa treatments. Dinner and overnight at your Diani resort.
Relaxing in Diani and Departure
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and a final morning soaking up the beach paradise. Depending on your flight schedule, you can relax by the pool, take a beach walk, or explore local shops and cafes. Later, transfer to Ukunda Airport or Mombasa for your departure flight, ending your unforgettable Kenyan adventure combining safari thrills and coastal bliss.
