Rift Valley Day Tour

Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or airport, followed by a scenic drive down the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Upon arrival at Lake Nakuru National Park, set out on a thrilling game drive across the park’s acacia woodlands and lakeshores. Keep an eye out for white and black rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, baboons, and if you’re lucky, elusive leopards. The shimmering lake, often dotted with pink flamingos and pelicans, makes for fantastic photography.

After exploring Nakuru, continue to Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch at a lakeside restaurant (optional). In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat ride on Lake Naivasha, gliding past hippos wallowing in the water and spotting cormorants, fish eagles and other birdlife along the shoreline. Depending on your interest and timing, you may also visit Crescent Island for a gentle guided walk among giraffes, zebras and antelopes. As the sun begins to set, drive back to Nairobi and arrive in the early evening, carrying memories of a day filled with stunning wildlife and scenic beauty.
