Day by Day
Arusha - Serengeti National Park
Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from Arusha and a scenic drive or optional flight to Serengeti National Park. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or tented camp, then set out on your first afternoon game drive. The Serengeti is teeming with life, from prides of lions lounging in the sun to herds of wildebeest and zebras grazing the plains. As dusk falls, return to camp for dinner and overnight, surrounded by the sounds of the wild under a starlit sky.
Full Day in Serengeti
Start your day with a sunrise game drive, a prime time to spot predators like leopards, lions, and cheetahs on the move. After breakfast back at camp, enjoy more game viewing or choose to relax and take in the serene views. In the afternoon, continue your exploration across the central or southern Serengeti, depending on wildlife movement and season. End the day with a sundowner and a hearty dinner, wrapping up a thrilling day in one of Africa’s most famous wildlife reserves.
Serengeti - Mount Kilimanjaro
After breakfast, depart the Serengeti and journey toward Mount Kilimanjaro National Park, arriving at the base town of Moshi by early afternoon. After lunch, head into the national park for a light hike or guided nature walk along the lower forest trails, where you may spot colobus monkeys, birds, and tropical flora. Enjoy breathtaking views of the mountain’s snow-capped peak (weather permitting) and learn about the routes used by climbers. Later, check into your lodge in Moshi or the surrounding area for dinner and overnight.
Kilimanjaro Exploration & Departure
Begin your morning with a relaxed breakfast and optional cultural visit to a nearby Chagga village or coffee farm at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Alternatively, take a final guided walk within the lower altitudes of the park. Depending on your departure schedule, you’ll be transferred back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport, marking the end of your East African safari adventure, a perfect blend of Serengeti’s wildlife and Kilimanjaro’s awe-inspiring landscapes.
